Business Analyst – SCM

Business Requirements
  1. Proficient with SAP SCM modules. Hands on experience in two or more SAP modules enlisted – SD, WM, LE, MM, PP, APO.
  2. Lead the development of and document to a high standard, business requirements for projects, continuous improvements and potentially programmes
  3. Working closely with the business to understand their needs and act as a ‘bridge’ between the business and IS
  4. Engaging with the business through interviews and workshops to gather and document detailed and unambiguous business requirements that meet those needs
  5. Becoming the Subject Matter Expert on the business’ requirements and act as the ‘voice of the businesses for the project team
  6. Ensuring that all governance, risk management, controls, and compliance requirements are considered during the development of requirements
  7. Where required, working directly with Business Relationship IS Directors to ensure that business needs have been captured correctly and represented accurately in the requirements
  8. Enabling effective business change by challenging business stakeholders to think differently about how the business delivers its products and services.
Solution Delivery Support
  1. Support delivery partners with translating requirements into clear functional specifications
  2. Respond to queries raised by delivery partners during the technical design, build and deploy phases
  3. Support delivery partners during testing phases, in particular UAT
  4. Provide support to delivery partners during the “handover to support” phase to help enable a successful handover to the business. As part of this, support delivery partners by contributing to the development and delivery of user training.
Other
  1. Support the Project Manager during the start-up and planning phase as required
  2. Provide work/effort estimates to the Project Manager as required
  3. Contribute to project meetings to ensure that potential impacts, risk, issues, gaps and assumptions are captured, analyzed and understood
  4. Contribute to post implementation reviews, evaluations and lessons learned.
  5. Act as an SME for processes pertaining to Supply Chain Management (SCM)
